Differences between Gen X and Gen Z for technology
Generation X grew up in a time of innovation - TV
Generation Z grew up with innovation of social media for example(vine snap chat kick starter)which creates daily discruptions.
Generation Y witnessed huge technological change due to the introduction of the Internet and the World Wide Web.
Differences between Gen Y and Gen Z for technology
Generation Y embraced the VCR, the walkman, the PC, the CD, the DVD, mini-disc, mobile phone, floppy discs and of course the Internet.
This generation has embraced technology including Big Data, social media, TV and films on demand, streaming, flat screen TV, Smartphones, tablets, Wi-Fi, LED, facial recognition, portable game devices, HD, 3D, mass storage and cloud services.
Generation Z high expectation for the pace of “more, smaller, and better” versions of technological products and not surprised by product obsolescence
Generation X feel outpaced and over-charged by planned obsolescence (as evidenced by their more frugal or market-cynical parents and grandparents)

Differences between Gen X and Gen Z for Ways of getting news
Gen Xer’s behaviour tends to look more like the millennial generation, but their love for nostalgia means they’re not quite ready to give up more traditional ways of getting news.
Most Gen Xers grew up during the golden age of newspaper print media, so they were exposed to print at an early age. They want convenience and options; they don’t want to be tied to any one method of receiving information; and they are definitely not clinging to a printed newspaper.
Gen Z has had technology as part of their lives from day one and they put virtually all their trust in it. For this generation, Google is the holy grail of information and they expect to find what they’re looking for instantly. They’re constantly “tuned in,” watching television, tweeting and Googling information at the same time.

My opinion regarding to Generation Z is that is such a huge gap of technology between generation X to generation Z while technology between Generation Y and generation Z is not much different but things is evolving.I believes everything comes with Pro and Cons and what we are doing is that maybe Generation X does not like how Generation Z sticks with social media platform, but Generation X cannot deny that social media does have it Pros too,for example we can receive and transmit message rapidly and connect with peoples around the world.
Technology : Car
Generation X(which born between 1965 to 1982) are prefer car that are practical, spacious and family-friendly,4 of the top ten vehicles purchased by generation x buyer were minivans, eight and have two rows of seats.Generation X buyers are prefer to buy vehicles that are able to fit their changing lifestyle so that automaker build a larger, roomier vehicles to fulfill their demand.
Generation Y are more towards to cars they can customize , choosing a aftermarket parts and body kits over the family friendly practically enjoyed by generation X.
Generation Z,they are prefer something small, simple and inexpensive cars, they have continuously gravitated toward purchasing smaller cars. The latest generation of car buyer want the most value of their money and there they dont want to spend on process.Car manufacture have to get creative on multitude of levels i order to appeal to this massive market.

Technology: Medium of communication
Generation X are more familiar with communicate to others with email and internet, they prefer using cellphone connect with each other all the time for example instant messaging. They do not like to communicate through meeting hence they are not team-oriented.
Generation Z,is a member of facebook generation are deeply immersed to web of technology and inter-connectivity.they are more prefer to do texting and social networking.Facebook generation communicates in short messages, not longer than a sentence or two. They didnt use proper grammar, punctuation, resist to urge to correct misspelling.Facebook generation expect for a instant reply from you, they will think they are ignored by you when they waited for a longer period.Facebook generation have to grudging learn to check their inboxes and memos with more than one sentence and real punctuation or the workspace will have to evolve to the shorter, more immediate means of communicating that the younger staff favors.

Generations on Technology
Generation Z,is known as digital native, characterised by heavy use of social media, already used to an instantaneous communication.Me,as a part of the generation Z,I can't deny that technologies are so important to our generation, for example internet, computer, smartphone, these technologies somehow be part of our life,to connect and communicate with other people near by us or around the world. We all grown up with technology, video games and movies which can be seen around us,we are living in a happiness world compared to the previous generation, they only start to enjoy technology life later of their life.In the negative part is when we always check our phone unconditionally and sometimes expect people reply us as soon as possible. In the positive way,our generation able to sit in front of computer and use of keyboard and mouse to gain knowledge, get latest news, communicate with peoples just with few clicks while other generations have to gain their knowledge by visit a library, buy newspapers, search books from bookshop, which is takes much more time compared to our generations, thanks to existance of Google. I have to say that even thought that we had so much of technologies but we have to appreciate what we have, and have to ensure to use these technologies in healthy ways.
